The 12th China Changchun International Sculpture Symposium
I will shortly be travelling to Changchun in China to take part in the 12th Annual Changchun International Sculpture Symposium. Back in April I was invited by Changchun City Council to take part in this prestigious event which lasts from July to September every year. Believe it or not Changchun is one of the largest cities in the world with a population of over 2 million and the sculpture park is equally massive covering 92 hectares including 12 hectares of lakes. I have been invited there to build the largest Fire Ball ever made! They have provided me with accommodation a studio, all the required equipment a translator and an assistant which is incredibly generous and I am really looking forward to the trip. I will be making regular posts on this site so you can follow what I get up to right here.
